Great starting point

This was a great read for anyone who is just getting their wheels turning and wants to hit the ground running with a brewpub. Not a complete comprehensive guide to every business detail you'll need but a good step by step analysis of the overview of what it will take and contains lots of great tips. A very light, enjoyable read thats well worth your small amount of time and money if a brewpub is something you want in your future. Note: This is book is not at all about how to brew, look elsewhere for that, its a business book.

Not enough substance to warrant a recommendation to purchase.

There are some helpful points and I found it useful. It's an easy read and presented in a logical manner. This is why I gave this book three stars. I couldn't give it a more positive rating because I think you should borrow it and not buy it. The author basically made a pamphlet into a book. What I mean by that is there is not too much to this book. He doesn't even number the pages, the page layout makes the book look thicker than what it is, and there are huge gaps in the pages without typing to take up space. In the manner it was laid out, it's a rip-off. Imagine your high school teacher gave you an assignment that your research paper had to be at least 100 pages long instead of x number of words long. You could make the margins bigger, have gaps in the pages that don't contain any writing, and give the bottom of each page a two inch margin to get to your 100 page assignment. I hope this analogy helps. Give it a thumbs up if it does.
